Discipline, guidance, and a path worth earning.

Peerhood pairs ambitious middle and high school students with near-peer mentors currently enrolled at Harvard, MIT, and other leading universities — structured around a 12-week curriculum, not unstructured chats.

For families

A steady hand, one year at a time.

Designed to complement the admissions consulting you may already have in place — not replace it. Peerhood focuses on the years before applications: building habits, discipline, and direction early.

I

A structured 12-week program

Weekly sessions built around a fixed curriculum, not open-ended conversation.

II

Peers who were recently in the same seat

Currently enrolled at Harvard, MIT, and other leading universities — mentors who've found the success your student is chasing, matched by interest and fit.

III

Background-checked, every time

Every mentor completes CORI/SORI screening before working with a single student.

IV

Built for middle school through junior year

The earlier a student starts building real habits and direction, the more it compounds — well before admissions consulting typically begins.

Our Story

Why Peerhood

Peerhood's founder, Alice, built Peerhood out of a recognition of what her own path could have looked like. A capable student who lacked direction early on, Alice found her way into a successful career in finance and business largely on her own — but she has often wondered what might have been different with the right guidance at the right time: a peer to help her understand not just what to work toward, but why it mattered, and what it would actually take to get there.

Peerhood exists because young students need more than teachers, academic counselors, and tutors — they need peers who were recently in their exact position. Reflecting on her own experience, Alice recognized how differently things might have unfolded with guidance from someone just a few years ahead of her: someone who could offer a perspective she hadn't yet encountered, in the classroom or among her own peers. Peerhood is built on that same idea — a student mentor your child can genuinely see themselves in, offering the kind of perspective that comes only from someone who was recently there themselves.
